MPhil/PhD Sports And Exercise Science
MPhil/PhD 1 - 4 Years School of Sport, Coaching & Exercise Science Lincoln First-class or upper second-class honours degree inSport, Exercise and/or Coaching Science or a related subject
Introduction
Studying for an MPhil or PhD requires students to develop the critical thinking, reflective academic and research skills to underpin a lifetime of investigative learning. It involves devising and conducting an original piece of research under the supervision of staff with expertise in the area you have chosen.
The advantage of the MPhil or PhD research degree is that you can become specialised in an area of your own choosing and build higher level skills in research and analysis, whilst you develop an original piece of academic research. Some students publish their research. There is a real sense of ownership and achievement in the final product and it can prepare you well for a career in research and academia.
