We study animal and plant biology at the cellular, organism and population levels to answer fundamental questions on evolution and lifetime development to advance the conservation of biodiversity and the sustainable use of resources.

- Hedgerow biodiversity

- Behaviour and ecology of free ranging wild bream
- Post-copulatory sexual selection
- Effect of domestication on brain size
- Use of artificial beans in the control of stored food pests
- Bat population dynamics.
