MPhil/PhD Animal Behaviour and Welfare - Research Opportunities

MPhil/PhD School of Life Sciences Riseholme - Lincoln

Introduction

The School has excellent modern animal facilities and is home to some of the most exciting and innovative research work in animal behaviour and welfare.

In the past, the main aim of animal science was to increase the production of food and other commodities. Today’s priorities are different and research in animal behaviour and welfare is of growing importance. Animal science is now also concerned with non-food domesticated animals, such as horses, dogs and other companion animals, as well as exotics such as reptiles.
