The University offers a wide choice of rooms in modern self-catered apartments. You may choose to live in one of the University accommodation developments or in one of our Partnership Halls. Whatever you decide, the University of Lincoln can help you every step of the way, from deciding on what's right for you to filling in the application.
The Student Village is made up of two stunning waterfront accommodation complexes: Lincoln Courts and the newly-opened Cygnet Wharf. You will be close to the University’s academic buildings, Student Services Team and the Students’ Union, and the city centre is just a short walk away. It is owned and managed by the University of Lincoln, and our dedicated Accommodation Services Team aim to help you make the most of your student experience.
These properties offer a range of rooms and apartments for new and continuing students who choose to live off-campus. They are all within a short walk of campus and managed by the University of Lincoln, which means that students are provided with the same type of support that they would benefit from in on-campus halls of residence.
We work closely with accommodation partners to ensure that the high standards we expect are met in all of our partnership halls of residence. These developments are located off-campus and are within walking distance of the Brayford Pool Campus and city centre. There is something to suit all budgets, including shared facilities, en-suite rooms and studio apartments.
Everything on Your Doorstep
The city’s nightlife includes restaurants, pubs, cocktail bars, live music venues and clubs. The Brayford Marina is home to a nine-screen Odeon cinema, while the Engine Shed, Lincoln Performing Arts Centre, New Theatre Royal and Lincoln Drill Hall offer a programme of events throughout the year.
Dominika Garbocz, Danesgate House
The best thing about my accommodation is the modern facilities. All the bedrooms are en-suite, with large beds, plenty of storage and lots of light. My favourite thing is the large kitchen, which is ideal for socialising as it has a large TV, sofas and a kitchen island everyone can sit around.
Logan Baker, Lincoln Courts
The location is perfect; being on campus is ideal for getting to lectures. Settling in and making new friends could not have been easier due to the spacious communal areas.
Madeleine Long, Cygnet Wharf
Cygnet Wharf’s facilities and location are amazing. As it is situated on campus it’s only five minutes away from any part of the University. There are ten of us in our apartment and it is easy to make new friends. It’s a really sociable environment as there always seems to be someone in the common area.
Ash Kavanagh, The Gateway
The Gateway feels like a great transition between living at home with parents and living out in the adult world. There’s a great community feel and I always feel safe and valued as a resident.
