My Lincoln
Dr Jirina Šmejkalová
Reader in the Lincoln School of Media
(Faculty of Media, Humanities & Technology)
I enjoy working at the University thanks to the challenge of building up numerous new projects, its openness to change and the collegial mood that prevails here.

By choosing Lincoln, postgraduate students will benefit from working with specialists in their respective fields and scholars who have both national and international reputations. At the same time, they will enjoy the luxury of highly individualised teaching which promotes very close and fruitful working relationships with supervisors and tutors.
In addition to my teaching, I also contribute to the active research that is undertaken within the School and the University; co-directing a research centre, designing a three-year research project with a colleague and pursuing my own research project.
