Which international river flows through Angola, Namibia and Botswana?
Which modern brass instrument descends from the sackbut?
These were just some of the questions put to students in a previous grand final of our nation-wide University Challenge - a general knowledge quiz aimed at current Year 12 students.
More than 40 teams enter each year and we are on the hunt for more brains of the future. Each school can submit one team of four students to compete for the first prize of £1000 for their school/college and £50 for each participating student from the winning team.
Lincoln’s University challenge is an amazing opportunity to bring together schools from all over the country, giving students the chance to get a taste of university life on campus while putting their knowledge to test. Regional heats are held all over the country before the grand final in Lincoln in September of each year.
We are currently setting the dates and venues for our 2018 challenge. Places will be limited in some regional heats, so make sure your school or college doesn’t miss out by registering your interest today.Register Your Interest
