Library and Learning Resources
Our services to students and staff
Library and Learning Resources support the teaching, learning and research activities of the University. We run help desk and enquiry services at all campuses, and our teams of Academic Subject Librarians provide subject-specific information and support for the University's faculties.

- Information for visitors
We can help you to get hold of a book or article using inter-library loan, visit the British Library's reading rooms at Boston Spa, or format a bibliography using RefWorks. We work alongside academic staff to develop our collections in line with the University's curriculum, to digitise material for use in Blackboard (our virtual learning environment), and to create online module reading lists.

About our libraries
Lincoln's award-winning Great Central Warehouse University Library is at the centre of student life at the Brayford Pool Campus. The library is open to students and staff until midnight Sunday-Thursday (10pm Friday and Saturday), and visitors are welcome to use our collections for reference.

At Riseholme Park, about three miles north of the City of Lincoln, is the Riseholme LRC, with collections to support agriculture, animal-related and biological science courses.
The Hull Campus LRC provides library and IT services for the Hull School of Health & Social Care and the Hull Centre for Management Development.
And in south Lincolnshire, our Holbeach Campus LRC is a specialist resource for the University's dedicated food technology and food manufacturing centre.
Between them, our four libraries contain over a third of a million items.
e-Library
The e-Library provides students and staff with on- and off-campus access to almost 40,000 valuable e-books and more than 35,000 full-text e-journals; plus newspaper and parliamentary archives going back to the eighteenth century, and a range of online bibliographic, legal, audiovisual, business and technical databases.
