Historic Lincoln Alongside the Cathedral, Lincoln Castle dominates the skyline of Lincoln acting as a focus for international tourism. The area is scattered with archaeological sites dating back to Roman and Norman periods, and looking at a regional map you can still see the legacy of the Romans - all roads lead to Lincoln. The Cathedral Quarter is 5 minutes walk away from the town centre. Restaurants, pubs and cafes line the short route to the city centre with its shopping and nightlife. The main Brayford Pool campus is also easily walkable. |
Access to University buildings
Most of the University's premises are modern and easily accessible. However the Cathedral Quarter in Lincoln has some very old buildings. Greestone Mount, Thomas Parker House and Chad Varah House have limited access for visitors with mobility problems. In all cases we recommend that you contact University disability office (DART) before visiting these buildings.
