Lincoln is a lively city attracting over a million tourist a year. Mixing over 2000 years of history with excellent shopping facilities, lively arts and events programmes, and a good range of pubs, restaurants and clubs. Places not to be missed include The Cathedral, The Castle (which houses one of only four originals of the Magna Carta), Steep Hill and the historic Bailgate area which house fine specialist shops including boutiques, antique, craft, book and gift shops along the cobbled streets.
