Pathway Courses: Lincoln International Study Centre

For international students who do not meet the University of Lincoln’s direct entry requirements, the International Study Centre offer a range of specialist pathway programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

International Foundation Year

The International Foundation Year is a supportive one-year course that aims to prepare students for entry into the first year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Lincoln. As a foundation student, you can choose from two subject routes including business and media or engineering and computing.

International Year One

Equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree, the International Year One course is an intensive three or four term programme which is designed to prepare students for entry into the first or second year of a University of Lincoln degree.

As an international year one student, there are four subject areas you can choose from including business and management, computer science, engineering or media studies.
