  The
University of Lincoln is a friendly and comfortable place to
study partly because most of its buildings are within
walking distance. It has very high quality lecturers,
academic staff and front line staff as well.
Another good thing about the university is its location,
as nearby facilities include a shopping high street, cinema
and train station.
After finishing my PhD research, I will return to my home
country, Sultanate of Oman, where my qualification will
enable me to participate in its development.

I really enjoyed the time I spent at the University of Lincoln
studying for my MA Journalism degree. The tutors are very
professional and knowledgeable and I have gained many important
journalism skills. As well as the tutors, the other staff that
work within the Lincoln School of Journalism are all very kind
hearted. They provide excellent advice on day-to-day matters and
guided me on my future career. They also made me feel very
welcome and as part of a family. If I could, I would have loved
to have stayed on here in Lincoln.

  I was
very sure about my career ambitions before coming to Lincoln
and what I was going to experience when deciding to study my
MA programme and the university.
Whilst the university’s qualified and student-friendly
faculty pass on the quality education and help me build up
my skills, state of the art facilities are provided on the
hi tech, purpose built campus which has given me an enriched
practical knowledge that was essential to pursue career
goals. Studying MA journalism at a university equipped with
up-to-date radio and TV studios, and courses taught by
award-winning professionals has given me an insight of the
professional environment of the news and media industry.
Working in the university’s Siren FM helped me gain
practical knowledge of broadcast media even before I stepped
out of the university. Last but not least, the work
experience gained at the university was welcomed by the
local BBC radio station and offered me a place as broadcast
assistant.
So if you are considering to study in the UK at a
university where you can achieve practical knowledge as well
as hands-on experience, the University of Lincoln should be
your one and only choice.

  After
visiting the University of Lincoln and the city itself, I
was very impressed and keen to study here. My experience of
being a student at the university has been fantastic, all
the way from being offered a place right through to
graduating.
The support for international students here is
overwhelming. There are many facilities available for
students, from sports and leisure to entertainment and
lifestyle. Activities such as day trips to places of
interest, foreign language films, inaugural lectures on an
extensive range of topics and community voluntary service
are available. This all provides students with a diverse
outlook during their time at the university.
The University of Lincoln also provides careers advice
and opportunities for students to explore their interests
and capabilities to a further level.
I would certainly recommend the University of Lincoln to
prospective International students.

Lincoln is such a pretty little city that I love at first sight. Ancient Roman style buildings stand on the sides of clean streets; warm smiles can be seen in every shop and office. With relatively cheap rents and very good public security, Lincoln is more than suitable to start an overseas study life.
I am in the undergraduate course of Business Administration in the University of Lincoln. The tutors here are as good as in many other top universities, and the combination of lectures and seminars is very helpful to my learning. Besides, there are all kinds of student societies you can choose. I enjoyed my orientation very much.
Also, the Job Shop and the Enterprise@Lincoln office are highlights of the university services. They help students with their CVs, and provide lots of information to help students get employed, both in part-time work and for a career. I have benefited a lot from them

  I
completed my undergraduate degree in architecture at
Lincoln. It was a
wonderful experience to be part of a developing university.
As an
architecture student I was lucky enough to see many new
buildings being
built, including our very own architecture school. I am now
planning to
go on and complete my postgraduate course here. The staff
and students
are very friendly and as it is a fairly small and very
pretty city, it
has made it easy to make friends here. I will never forget
the
experience I have had, the friends I have made and of course
the
education I have received from the University of Lincoln.

Choosing to study at the University of Lincoln for my MBA is
by far the best decision I ever made. The ambience,
discipline and level of education are simply outstanding,
and the staff are very supportive, encouraging and caring.
The entire university is like a family and I now feel proud
to be part of this family. Words cannot explain the richness of
this university and the city of Lincoln, and I have come here to
experience this wealth.
