Applying to the University of Lincoln

Entry procedures differ for Undergraduate and Postgraduate students. Undergraduate student apply via UCAS ( the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service). Postgraduate students apply directly to the University. For further information please see below.

International Applications

Undergraduate applications:

If you are interested in applying for a full-time undergraduate programme at the University of Lincoln ALL applications should be made through UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service).

UCAS are the organisation responsible for managing applications to higher education courses in the UK.

To make an application you are required to fill in an online application form.

Postgraduate applications:

All students applying for post graduate study at University of Lincoln must apply directly to the university by completing the appropriate application form.

Please Note: There are two different application forms – one for taught courses e.g MA,MSC and one for research courses e.g MPhil, PHD.

Each application is considered on an individual basis and work experience is taken into account.

September Intake:
Applications from international students should normally be received by 30 June to allow for Visa applications.

January Intake:
Applications from international students should normally be received by 30 November to allow for Visa applications.

*applicants with qualifications obtained in a language other than English should attach a certified English transcript to the form.
