BA (Hons) Fashion at the University of Lincoln is a dynamic and creative subject, encompassing the full spectrum of specialist skills needed to work in the fashion industry both nationally and internationally.
Teaching is delivered by our enthusiastic and dedicated team of highly experienced tutors and includes a comprehensive range of subjects such as ideas generation, design development, illustration, fashion forecasting, pattern cutting and construction. Students have their own studio space and access to a wide range of facilities, which includes state-of-the-art studios, workshops and a public gallery. Fashion workshops include pattern-cutting rooms, industrial sewing and embroidery machines, a digital fabric printer, knit studio and millinery studio.
To ensure that students are fully prepared for a career in fashion, we integrate professional skills across all areas of this degree. Our links with industry and external organisations provide students with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in completing 'live' projects and entering competitions held by industry bodies such as Graduate Fashion Week, the Savile Row Training Academy and the Design Museum.
Academics are practising artists who guide and support students through their development and reflective practice, culminating in the Final Year Degree Show, where students exhibit a body of independent work.
