Sustainable Marketing as Practice
An examination of waste in the retail food supply chain caused by marketing practice

Lincoln International Business School will be hosting a joint British Academy of Marketing Chartered Institute of Marketing conference examining the issue of sustainable marketing in the retail food supply chain 

The event will address examine and discuss sustainable retail supply and marketing focussing upon the issue of waste caused by marketing practices. The first session will consist of three short presentations examining the issues by Sheraz Mailk (University of East London), James Truscott (Branston Ltd) and Darren Bevan (JDM Foodgroup). The second session will be a discussion of the issues raised chaired by Professor Martin Hingley aimed at identifying and examining the differences between practice and academic theory. Those with an interest in the management and reduction of waste in the supply chain or an interest in sustainable marketing should attend.
