DART - the University's Disability Service
If you have a disability, a learning difficulty, mental health or medical condition, the University has a specialist department, DART, committed to providing you with advice and a range of specialist services.
These services include:
- Advice and guidance on accessing support for study skills and learning strategies
- Screening and assisting with obtaining a diagnostic assessment for dyslexia
- Information on Disabled Students’ Allowances (DSAs)
- Assessments of course-related and IT needs
- Advice on personal matters relating to your disability.
Lincoln University Assessment Centre (LUAC)
We are committed to helping all of our students fulfil their potential and get the most from their time at Lincoln. For UK students in receipt of a Disabled Student’s Allowance (DSA) for a disability, learning difficulty or medical condition, the University’s Assessment Centre can provide a needs assessment to identify any support you may require in your studies.
This support could be in the form of specialist equipment, software or services and will be specific to your needs and the course you are studying.

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday: 8.30am to 5pm
Wednesday: 9.30am to 5pm
Friday: 8.30am to 4.30pm
LUAC is located on the Brayford Pool campus. The Centre is a member of the National Network of Assessment Centres (NNAC) and one of the first to be awarded the Disabled Students Allowance Quality Assurance Group (DSA-QAG).
