Cathedral Quarter
The Cathedral Quarter campus houses our Fine Art, Illustration, and Conservation and Restoration programmes, part of the Lincoln School of Art and Design. The campus consists of two main buildings, both situated in Lincoln’s historic Cathedral Quarter.
Chad Varah House
Chad Varah House is a beautiful Grade II listed building set in attractive gardens. It is situated adjacent to the famous Steep Hill and just a few paces south of Lincoln Cathedral.
Greestone Centre
Greestone Centre has its own impressive art gallery and studios which frequently hold exhibitions by students and practising artists.
The Cathedral Quarter campus is five minutes walk away from the town centre, the main Brayford Pool campus is within easy walking distance and The Collection and The Usher Gallery nearby are the city's largest contemporary and traditional arts venues.
Access to University buildings
Most of the University's premises are modern and easily accessible. However the Cathedral Quarter in Lincoln has some ancient buildings. Greestone Mount, Thomas Parker House and Chad Varah House have limited access for visitors with mobility problems. In all cases, we recommend that you contact the University’s disability office, DART, before visiting these buildings and we will help you get around.
