Accommodation Costs for 2011/12

Here is a guide to what you can expect to pay for your accommodation.

On-campus accommodation (The Student Village)

*Student Village residence fees:

En-suite: £4,392.90 (providing 40 weeks of accommodation paid in 3 instalments of £1,464.30).

Standard: £3,877.35 (providing 40 weeks of accommodation paid in 3 instalments of £1,292.45).

Off-campus accommodation (Halls of residence buildings)

*Example of charges:

En-suite: £3,700 - £5,100 (48 to 46 week accommodation period generally paid in three instalments with a possible deposit to pay)

Standard: £2,800 to £3,700 (48 to 46 week accommodation period generally paid in three instalments with a possible deposit to pay)

Shared housing in the Private Sector

Some students choose private sector accommodation.

An example of their charges:

Room only: 48 week accommodation period - £65 to £75 per week

Utilities included: 48 week accommodation period - £70 to £90 per week
