Professional Development and Executive Education

Future thinking organisations are investing in their staff to be better prepared for business challenges of the future. They are maximising the contribution staff make to the business and holding on to their best employees.

With programmes developed by researchers and industry experts at the University of Lincoln, professional development and executive education opportunities are different to other training courses. In addition, short courses can be University accredited and can count towards a University postgraduate qualification in the future.

We offer flexible learning solutions, over a range of specialist areas:

Business & Law
Enhance management and leadership skills, with courses designed for employees at different career stages, from new managers to senior executives.   

Media
Develop up-to-the minute digital and social media skills and experience our state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, which include the largest TV studio in the East Midlands, a brand new dubbing studio, video and audio editing suites and multimedia studios.   

Food & Agriculture
Develop specialist skills in Food, Agriculture and Agronomy. This can be around required vocational training to technical business support. We offer a wide range of courses taught by leaders in the sector.

Health
Work with Health Service providers to deliver specialist programmes in Adult and Mental Health Nurse training. 

The Centre for Professional Development supports a key priority for the College of Social Science in building a balanced portfolio of external income generating activity that is closely aligned to client need and market demand. It aims to respond in a focussed and coherent manner to local, regional and possibly national demand, around the academic expertise within it.
