Welcome to Agriculture, Equine and Food
Agriculture, Equine and Food comprises Riseholme College and the National Centre for Food Manufacturing.
Students studying Agriculture courses are based at our stunning Riseholme Park Campus, just three miles north of Lincoln. The 414-hectare historic site provides an outstanding learning environment.
The National Centre for Food Manufacturing is based at Holbeach in the south of Lincolnshire. It is an internationally recognised provider of education, research and technical business support for the food industry. It serves the UK’s largest concentration of food manufacturing businesses, located in the East Midlands and eastern regions.
We are committed to working with employers to ensure our students have the skills and aptitude to enhance their careers and access to the latest thinking, technologies and innovation in the sector. As a result our students can claim to be amongst the best in their field and this is reflected by our high employability record, and our excellent links with agricultural, food manufacturing, rural industries and businesses and leading animal charities.
The University’s commitment to teaching informed by research is fundamental to our work and we actively pursue an agenda of strategic and applied research seeking to make a major contribution to the industries we serve through the shining vocational and technical skills of our students and our academic standing in research and teaching.
So whether you are a young person or adult whishing to pursue a practically based vocational course or Apprenticeship, an undergraduate or postgraduate programme, or an employer we would be delighted to hear from you.
