Architecture at Lincoln
Architecture at Lincoln is both art and science. Students learn how to design functional buildings that they fit seamlessly into our lives, and buildings so spectacular they become works of art.
Teaching takes place in industry-standard studios and workshops equipped with professional resources including rapid prototyping, computer-aided design software and laser cutting equipment, located in our award-winning Architecture Building designed by the internationally renowned Rick Mather.
Research conducted in the School is impacting the professional landscape, with particular strengths in sustainable architecture. The University’s interdisciplinary culture presents exciting opportunities for collaboration, such as the interactive show garden controlled by Twitter, which won a Gold Medal at the 2013 RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
