Free Broadband Access:

All Student Village rooms have a broadband connection and it is FREE.

When you have finished blogging, surfing, social networking etc, you will also be able to access all the university services such as the Library, enabling you conduct out of hours studies in the quiet and comfort of your own room.

Unlike commercial broadband where connections are shared and often don’t achieve maximum speed, the university offers true 1Mbs broadband via its own network… and you don't need a modem or broadband router.

To connect to the internet just plug in – that's it!
Connection is by cable directly into your LAN port, which most computers now have. Wireless hotspots are available around the main university buildings, so you will never be far from a connection.
