I am a veterinary surgeon from Brazil. I studied at the Veterinary Medicine Faculty of the University of Sao Paulo from January 1997 to December 2002. I also undertook  Research Training on Animal Behaviour from July 2000 to December 2003 at the Psychology Institute of the University of Sao Paulo. In October 2004 after being awarded the ALBAN scholarship for Latin American students I started a Masters at the University of Lincoln, Department of Biological Sciences under the supervision of Professor Daniel Mills.
