Summary: Impulsive behaviour in dogs underlies a range of behaviour problems including aggression. Initial research has developed a predictive questionnaire for levels of impulse control which is being cross validated with controlled behaviour tests (using a delayed reward paradigm) and analysis of related neurochemical metabolites in urine.
