Kinder tack

The Bitless Bridle - Professor Robert Cook from Tufts University in the US discusses the benefits of using a bitless bridle that acts via poll pressure and not poll flexion. He believes that the pain caused by constant pressure of the bit on the nerves inside the mouth might be one important cause of headshaking. The bitless bridle is recommended for every horse regardless of headshaking. (Tel. US 001 410 778 9005)

You can listen to Dr Cook talk about headshaking and the bit on ‘The Horse Show’, an American radio station on the internet. Go to www.thehorseshow.com/banner.html and search for 2 programs containing Dr Cook
