Feline Behavioural Problems
In a survey of normal cats the
following behaviours were reported (n = 120)
(Morgan & Houpt 1990)
- 60% furniture scratch
- 42% eat plants
- 36% aggressive to other cats
- 25% steal food
- 16% housesoil
- 16% inconvenient vocalisation
- 12% aggressive to people
- 7% chew fabric
- various others
But these are not the same as the problems reported for behaviour therapy, which are illustrated below
