Canine behaviour problems

In a survey of normal dogs (n = 502) we found the following (Mills unpublished data)

  • 51.8% said their dog had an annoying habit
  • mainly barking or obedience problems
  • 25.3% said their dog had a behaviour problem
  • of these (n= 127)
    • 38% aggression
    • 21% obedience & control
    • 17% vocalisation
    • 10% over excitable
    • 9% nervous
    • 9% house soil
    • 9% destructive
    • 6% sexual behaviour
    • 6% eating habits inc coprophagia
    • 7% other
