Degrees in a year

Case study: When East Lindsey District Council was seeking professional development for one of their senior managers they were seeking a course that broke down the barriers between learning at work and learning at University. So they contacted the University of Lincoln work-based learning team regarding the BA (Hons) Business Management degree by distance learning.

The course is a one level (Final Year) course that can be completed in between one to three years depending on a person’s circumstances, as it takes into account the high levels of skills and learning that are demonstrated every day in the workplace and provides a degree framework to support and accredit it. Students can start the course on any given day, can put study on hold for life’s events and come back to it later, plus receive credit for management responsibility and seniority. Because the course is taught by accelerated distance learning it is also more cost-effective in tuition fees and other costs.
