Peter takes a chanceAfter graduating from Lincoln in 2006 with a BA (Hons) degree in Media Production, Peter Black looked for work in his specialist field of video editorship in the Lincoln area and further afield before making a big decision to set up his own business.
“I set up as a freelance in Sparkhouse Studios in Lincoln for about a year. The company was Eager Productions and offered web sites, video production and adverts for Internet TV channels. However I began to miss working with other people and decided to search for employment so I could work within a team environment. Within just a few weeks I had two interviews and two job offers, one of which was from Affixxius Productions. It was bizarre how quickly I was offered a post – I think it was good to have a perspective from someone outside the industry.” Affixxius Productions are a corporate video production company based in Loughborough, Leicestershire. |
