Formerly the Hull School of Architecture, the School’s origins date
back to the 1930s, since when it has established an international
reputation for the study of Architecture, Design for Exhibition &
Museums and Interior Design. Following the School’s move to Lincoln
in the summer of 2003, these courses are now to be found at the
Brayford Campus, in a new £10 million purpose-built facility,
designed by the world-renowned architect Rick Mather. Following
the School’s move to Lincoln in the summer of 2003, Product Design,
presently based at the Cathedral Campus, was added to this
portfolio, thereby widening the 3-D design base.

With the relocation, Lincoln School of Architecture has benefited
from substantial investment in its facilities, which include
dedicated design studios, workshops, information technology
suites and powerful computer aided design (CAD) facilities.
Teaching takes place in modern
surroundings in a supportive and lively environment, where students
are able to realise their full potential in preparation for future
employment and professional development. Creativity, plurality,
collaborative working and community involvement is encouraged at all
levels, in all programmes.
