Welcome Agriculture, Food and Animal Sciences is a new faculty of the University of Lincoln. Though new the Faculty has a long history as it has been formed from Riseholme College, Holbeach Campus and the Department of Biological Sciences. We are now based on two campuses (see below) at Riseholme and Holbeach, with dedicated staff who offer individuals the chance to learn skills that will allow them to get on the career ladder at any stage of life. Riseholme Campus

Riseholme campus works closely with local and regional agricultural, horticultural, animal & equine businesses offers a wide range of training and full time specialist courses. The college has received national recognition for its work with industry by being awarded centre of vocational excellence status for land-based business and environmental management.
Holbeach Campus

Our Holbeach campus is situated in the heart of the Lincolnshire Fens and is the University’s specialist food campus. The campus has benefited from a £7 million redevelopment boasts state of the art training and educational resources including a £3.5 million specialist food factory with cutting edge automation dedicated to training and research. All provision at Holbeach is part-time and focused on meeting the training and education needs of adults and young people employed in the sector. The campus’s integrated curriculum has acquired a national reputation as an exemplar model of an industry specific, employer driven curriculum which offers a seamless route of progression from FE into HE for people working in the industry. Leading food companies use Holbeach to develop their employees and many of the sectors’ Technical Managers, Agronomists, Factory and Manufacturing Managers have been supported by Holbeach in their career development.
