Dr. C.O’Coill, whose research in community participation and the urban environment has been presented at conferences in London, Portugal, Berlin and Copenhagen, and the subject of articles in several international journals.

Dr. K. Watt’s research in the re-evaluation of regional interpretations of traditional and indigenous architecture and community participation in management of the rural heritage has been presented to conferences in Berlin, Milan, Brussels, Hanoi and Irbid, Jordan. It has also been subject of a number of advisory reports and published in several journals, including the International Journal of Environmental, Cultural, Economic and Social Sustainability.

Derek Cottrell’s research in contemporary urban regeneration has been presented at the Art Institute of Chicago and Hanoi and has, in conjunction with Dr.Watt, been subject of several journal articles and advisory reports.

Prof. V. Shacklock’s research in architectural landscape and conservation has resulted in several publications and his editorial role on the Journal of Architectural Conservation.
