The Drawing Group

This interdisciplinary group led by Prof. M. Healey and Reader J. Plowman has established international links under the auspices of Prof. Mike Esson, Sydney and Glasgow School of Art. The interdisciplinary nature of this group is demonstrated in the Drawing Symposium, which attracted contributions from a wide range of external collaborators and the conference ‘Drawing as Reflective Practice’ July 2006, which drew an international audience to the University of Lincoln. The group has also exhibited at Glasgow School of Art, the Air Gallery in London and ME Gallery, Sydney, while its individual members have exhibited at a number of inter/national venues, for example J. Bingham’s research in the ‘lost and found’ and the transient identities of detritus has been exhibited in the Air Gallery, London; Universidad de Concepcion, Chile and Penrose Gallery, Philadelphia, USA.
