Animation at Lincoln is a new and exciting development within the context of moving image, digital visualisation and contemporary narrative; ranging from game artistry, character & creature performance to experimental digital techniques.
The BA (Hons) Architecture programme is delivered through studio practice. History, theory, construction and environment are integrated with the design process.
Lincoln is the largest centre for the study of Conservation and Restoration in the UK, with over 25 years experience in this field, offering opportunities at all levels from undergraduate study to doctoral research.

DEM specialises in the design of three-dimensional communicative environments that 'tell a story'. Vocational in nature, it has strong links with the exhibition and museum design industries which result in good employment prospects.

Fine art is a practice through which to investigate, explore and share any number of personal subjects, obsessions and concerns. Method and media can mean traditional materials and approaches, or an appropriation of language, object, sound and image.
Graphic Design is about communication. Our students work with design briefs to create stimulating, challenging, beautiful and effective design solutions in response to wide ranging communication problems.
Illustration visually informs, illuminates, explains, decorates, stimulates and educates. It can express all kinds of human thoughts, experiences and imaginings.
Through an interdisciplinary approach students develop dynamic and memorable, creative visual responses across a number of areas including motion graphics for film and television, design for the web, environmental art-based installations and more.
Interior Architecture and Design seeks to understand the relationship between people, activities and places. Our multi-disciplinary approach to the subject positions it between architecture and the fast-moving world of contemporary visual culture.
The BA (Hons) Jewellery & Object programme is a new course for September 2010 and is part of the University of Lincoln’s Faculty of Art, Architecture & Design.
The Product Design programme has been developed to concentrate on the generation, innovation and communication of ideas which challenge conventional thinking and aim to innovate new markets.
