Welcome to the Lincoln University Assessment Centre website
LUAC
provide friendly needs assessments to UK students in receipt of
a DSA (Disabled Student’s Allowance) for a disability, a
learning difficulty (SpLD), or a medical condition.
Assessments are usually relaxed meetings where we listen to your concerns, and help you to identify equipment, software, services or support that is appropriate to your specific needs, and your chosen course.
We can also provide ‘Assessments of Needs’ to students
attending other UK universities, as well as those studying at
the University of Lincoln.
Our office in Lincoln, with 3 available assessment rooms,
is only a short distance from the city’s rail and bus stations.
For those with cars, we can usually arrange free VIP parking even closer to our Lincoln office.
The centre is wheelchair accessible.
Our opening times are on the contact LUAC page
LUAC
assessments seek to ensure that your degree outcome is a true
reflection of your inner ability and not your disability.
LUAC is an accredited member of NNAC (National Network of Assessment Centres) and supports the independent quality standards recommended by DSA-QAG.
Please contact LUAC to check for any last minute cancellations, times or venues.
Please note, any delay in contacting us for an assessment may equally delay the authorisation and provision of any agreed support package. We recommend you contact LUAC as soon as possible.

After your assessment is completed, DSA-QAG invites you to complete a short survey to help monitor and improve the service provided to all DSA-Students.
By doing so you could win an IPOD Touch
The Online Student Survey
The online survey is split into 3 parts, but you need only complete Part 1 at this stage.
Part 1 is about the service you received from the LUAC Assessment Centre.
After your Needs Assessment Report has been completed, and it has been sent to the funding body, please click on the link below:

Student Comment:
I would also like to say thanks to the whole team. You deserve much praise for your quiet and sensitive support which enables students like myself to continue studying ...so I very deeply appreciate the help I have received.
